Our April Omnibus closed on April 26, and we have started to publish the results. This survey predates the government's backdown on the ETS, which, on circumstantial evidence, appears to be driving the dramatic drop in their standing as measured by Nielsen and Newspoll.

This is probably the reason it doesn't mirror there findings, but the trend is in that direction. In fact, our respondents, who are representative of thought leaders in the community, have been ahead of these polls in their attitudes on the PM and the Leader of the Opposition.
