Federal politics and global warming.

 

The rise in the Liberal Party continues, although only to levels equal to that of the last election. Our First Preference Index- a relative measure of the popularity of the parties - gives the Liberals a figure of 123 and the Labor Party 95. The standings of the parties in September 2008 has a figure of 100 for all parties. The most notable movement in the last quarter appears to be in the popularity of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd which has declined siginificantly, while Tony Abbott's popularity has increased.
